Reyna and Henriquez lead 2005 American Rankings Central Region

Alejandro Reyna of Costa Rica and Annie Henriquez of the Dominican Republic led the 2005 American Rankings in the Central and Caribbean Region. Reyna totaled 238 points in three events to lead Willie Javier, Dominican Republic, by 37 points. Third place belonged to Carlo Sing, Panama, 177. Besides those three countries only player from Puerto Rico made it into the top 25.
In the women's division Annie Henriquez topped fellow country woman Aumi Guerra, 264-241 points. Sasha Luciano, Puerto Rico, finished 68 points behind Guerra in third position. The top 25 women all came from mere three countries: Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Panama.
The American Zone has been divided into three regions: North, Central/Caribbean and South. The top 16 men and 16 women in each region with the highest point total will be eligible for the Final Ranking Tournament American Zone 2005.
The tournament originally scheduled for December 6-10, 2005 in Panama has been postponed until February 28 - March 3, 2006. The 8 men and 8 women who will represent the American Zone at the World Ranking Masters will be selected from this event.
The World Ranking Masters includes the top 8 ranking men and women from the three zones, who will bowl for a separate prize fund. The 2006 WRM will be held in Kuwait, May 9-15, 2006.
