Bowling Championships at Orchid Bowl, Singapore (July 3-6, 2009)

2009AYGCollinsJose_small.jpg17-year old Low, who overtook Choi Kyung-Hwan in the position round to claim the No. 1 seed for the Boys Masters stepladder finals, sat and watched the opening shootout match in which the Korean posted a 218 game to take care of #3 Collins Jose (right), Philippines (211). Low then posted two big scores (236, 265) to fly past his opponent and to cruise to victory with 501-433 two-game pinfall.

It was the first gold medal for the host country in Boys division and the third overall. Choi's silver medal was the fifth for the Korean boys, who were the team which has won a medal in each event (Singles, Doubles, Team and Masters). Jose's bronze medal was the sole medal for the Philippines in the Games.
