15th Asian Youth Championships in Kuwait

The Kuwait Bowling Federations will host the 15th Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships. The competition will be staged at Cozmo Bowling Center, a 16-laner in Salmiya City, Kuwait.
89 players, 58 boys and 31 girls, from 15 countries - Australia, China, DPR Korea, Kuwait, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and UAE - will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, Team, All Events and Masters.
The opening ceremonies are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 25, 2010. The 8-day competition starts on Tuesday, Jan. 26 and ends with the Masters finals on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Boys and girls from the 36 ABF member federations - Australia, Bahrain, Brunei, China, Chinese Taipei, DPR Korea, Egypt, Ethiopia, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saipan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Syria, Thailand, UAE, Uzbekistan and Vietnam - are eligible to compete in the championships.
