Greece captured the gold medal in the Mixed Team event at the Challenge Cup in San Marino. Natassa Rovithaki, Despina Chrysanthi, Vretos Pachoulis and Stavros Parasakis averaged 216,46 for six team games and felled 5195 pins. Malta with Sue Abela, Lorraine Casha, Brian Farrugia, Rankin Luke Camilleri finished 154 pins behind in second place. Bronze went to Turkey with Mine Karakullukcu, Ebru Ozogluuntur, Mithat Siveliol and Burak Natal.
